Oh yeah, for years I carried on with this out of pathetic blind habit, continually trying to round it out and then ALWAYS going 1 or 2 cents over...And as I always pay with credit card, naturally I'm always charged the additional cent. Then I had the eureka moment and decided to fuck'n bend the system to MY WILL! I planned from then on to always stop the meter before it rounded out....Or close to it. What do I achieve? Absolutely nothing but I do feel more entertained during fill-ups
You would probably get your 2c/week back by paying with credit card 45 days interest free, + frequent flyer points, and have that 2c in your mortgage for 45 days... probably maybe... I inherited an automatic Prado ('99 petrol) that I am happy if I get 16.5L/100km... often as bad as 19L/100km... luckily it sit unused for weeks at a time and I use the bike... the auto is a killer, and makes the thing as gutless as a granny basher... Cheers, Daewoo
oser What makes this priceless is. I`m thinking (Going by your handle) that you might be Korean........A korean thats been in AU for too long and picked up on our way of speak
Nah mate, Irish English as Scottish (no Welsh thank Chrisst, those guys are all inbred )... Darryl, when said by a guy with a spweach impwediment, sounds a bit like dawill, which when heard by a 3 year old is repeated as Daewoo... has only stuck for 15 years so far... <------ if you are going by the Avata, that is a Thai bargirl who, if she could read English, would know that the shirt says "I'm the guy your mum warned you about" Cheers, Daewoo
I've got the V8 Landcruiser so don't come crying to me about fuel economy Actually those prado figures are pretty bad, I think I do about 12L/100km on the highway and around 18L/100km Not looking forward to the fuel bill for taking the bikes up to Alice Springs and back in May.......will be around $3k......lucky I got the fuel card
