g650x forks and clutch

Hi everyone. I look around here quite a bit for information but i'm more active over at supermotojunkie.com

I do know that there is a lot more information floating around here.

i have a 07 g650 xmoto

I have 2 questions.

1: Are there any aftermarket clutch parts for the 650 singles? wether its a complete clutch or just plates and springs.

2: What do you guys do when it comes time to change out fork oil? all stock stuff. heavier oil. different oil and springs. revalving?

so i've found a kit sold by hyperpro that includes springs and oil.

also found a uk company on ebay that sells seals for way less than oem.

havent found anything for the clutch. but i'll probably end up putting in heavier springs than oem.

clutch parts are the same as f650gs.

No, the clutch of the F650 is not the same as the G650.
Everything is different.

F650GS single is what I should have said. Never could get used to the idea of calling an 800cc bike a 650 .

Outer casing is different but I'm pretty sure the internals are the same.

but i doubt that the f650 singles have stiffer springs than the 650 x's. i'll probably get a husky terra/strada spring and see if it's changed any. if not then i bet honda clutch springs are cheap enough to get some from different models and measure rates. then return what I don't need.

i did google but didnt even think of looking for another bike.

turns out ebc also has some nice fiber discs.

but fresh oil and in spec chain slack definitely helped with that slipped clutch feeling.
