Just wondering ... are those special R1200 graphics on the tank? Like the look and the "Adventure" added.
Some more of mine from a ride out yesterday. 100 mile loop Home > Clitheroe > Settle > Slaidbun > Home. The Forest of Bowland was stunning. Amazingly, I was overtaken fifteen miles from home by a guy riding the Fireblade I traded for this! Absolutely no regrets though and totally loving the big GSA. Just waiting for delivery of Kahedo / TT seats and a Nippy Norman's side stand extender next week
Nothing else on Earth looks like a tired GS that just had to stop right there and lie down. Starting with the front wheel first.
Just a couple of pics from my day out on the bike the other week, one was taken on Dartmoor in Devon and the other on Exemoor in Somerset, obviously in that there little England
I figured, "No way I'm going to get a gun case on the back of this thing." Thank you for proving me wrong.
I'm looking for a Pelican case to give me waterproof protection for my weekend pursuit. As long as it is no more than 38" wide, it is not a problem. A couple of piggyback straps and I'm set.
Here is the one i just bought - 2011 GS Adventure!! i am going up (way up on seat hight) from my shadow. got the dream bike, now just need the adventures
If you're looking for a Pelican-style gun case, I'd recommend looking at the Plano All Weather series. I've got a wheeled one, I think it's the 54", which is obviously way too big for the back of the bike, but they also make a 36" version. When I bought mine, it was $70 cheaper than the comparable Pelican sitting right next to it ($140 vs. $210), and the Pelican was a bit smaller (I'd guess it was about 48"). I've only had the Plano for about six months, but I have no qualms with the quality whatsoever. For what I need it to do, it's as good as a Pelican would be.
