So that would be a reason NOT to go there...right!? If you ride the CT, they may try to throw you in the river!

    Awesome.

I stumbled onto it and was like "hey, that's the Barrett Bar!!"....

The UP is a favorite of mine.

Did it on the bike last year and with the wife in the Fiat this year.

    I met a champion today.

I was leaving campus, and what else rolls up than an old, absolutely ridden into the ground, nearly falling apart 1000GS with a car battery and some jumper cables strapped on the back. This, of course, is the result of being ridden all across two continents for over 20 years.

As it happens, the pilot has taken that bike around the states, through Alaska and South America numerous times and has circumnavigated Europe and India several times on other bikes.

When I asked if he was a member on here or anything, he replied "No, I do everything on my own." Who knew that a physics professor at the University of Louisville is one of the last great adventurers, in search of what is truly unknown. I think I may renounce my title to "sightseer".

I'm always game if it's not snowing. A little far out to nail anything down yet.

Any places is Paoli Ryan?? What's this Ritz restaurant I've seen?

By the looks of it, it was the same duct tape that was holding his seat together.

Sorry guys, this question may be difficult without pictures. Unfortunately I'm IT challenged, and couldn't get any images to help with the explanation.

I was looking for a more "indirect" route to the Overlook Restaurant on 62 near Leavenworth, basically following back roads after crossing the Ohio river in Brandenberg over to the restaurant. If you travel 2.7 miles East from the Overlook Restaurant, you come to Old Forest Rd. Just after turning, there's a bridge crossing the Blue River. Google will route you over the bridge as if it's a good road, but when zoomed in on the satellite view, you can see half the river through the bridge.

I'm wondering if this is still a viable crossing, or just an old bridge frame.

    Thanks!
