My name is Jakar and I have an airhead, but hey it has an oil cooler stuck on the crashbar. It is an addiction, you can ask my friends.

Jakar, there's a cure for that oil cooler problem. Can you say relocation kit? I knew you could. Seriously, after dumping mine on the right side several times on trails I prolly had no business on, I moved mine to the safer, center location. I do have the low fender, though.

    1994 version. 27,000 miles.

I bought it at 20,000, and soon after the transmission died. So I had Omar Sayied rebuild the transmission and when I assembled it, it got a new driveshaft. Last owner tried to rebuild the transmission, but didn't shim it right, and ruined the output shaft bearing and the driveshaft.

I added Wirth springs up front and a Progressive shock. I also changed the front brake line to stainless for a nice improvement.

    Goes great now.

I actually sold my 1150 Adventure this past year, because almost always chose the airhead over the adventure. Go figure...

Just like mine except it looks like you wash yours (and have replaced the rear shock). Put an Omega on mine last summer.

Sorry, no pics with me. I ride an '89 R100GS, blue and white, pretty much stock, plus skid plates, high fender, etc. Best bike I've ever owned...and seen plenty of dirt, too!

I had a 95 just like the first one pictured. Never shoulda sold it. I was riding with friends, all on Harley's during Bike Week, and taking a lot of flack all week about how ugly my bike was. Sitting in the Daytona traffic one day, a guy jumps out of his car, runs back to me and my buddies and asks if he can take a picture of me and my GSPD! The laugh was on the Harley guys the rest of the week.:rofl

Me too. I'm also lucky to have an 03 GS Adventure as well. I just flip a coin when I go to the garage. My PD is a 93 with 72K miles on it. Only 5K of them mine since last summer.

Ya gotta have them hosted on the Internet, then link to them. Send them to me by eMail, and I'll put them in my smugmug account, then send ya the links.
