VMX weekend at Unadilla with Wayne and his new buddy Trampas.

me and Wayne went to the Unadilla MX Rewind or whatever they called it this weekend at Unadilla and Wayne made a new friend named Trampas.

Pictures as soon as we unload the car and the dirty socks.

Wayne is convinced this is Steve McQueen and that Steve McQueen is alive and owns and still rides every Husky ever made.

Ex CZ factory pilot Jaroslav Slipenwrench was there on his factory race ready replica Bultaco with a very rare one off blue bazooka factory pipe that was rumored to increase air leaks on the Bul's by as much as 40%. And thats hard to do.

His old Russian team mate Valeri Whydidn'tidefectwhenihadthechance was also there with the original #57 bike that he tried to jump (unsuccessfully) the Berlin wall during the German 250cc Grand Prix back in 74.

Wayne's probably right, looks just like him.

sooo..I was talking to Gary Jones.

I'd met his dad in 2007 at Mid Ohio Vintage Days and he was with Mike Runyards dad who was 101 years old.

I asked if he was still alive (Mr. Runyard) and he died in his sleep at 104. :huh

if Weinert had a lettered shirt this would be priceless.

Have to get some whiz kid to photoshop it in.
