I'd like to add a 12v accessory plug (cigarette lighter) to my '13 GSA, and am trying to find a dedicated bracket that hides away under the windshield area. Have you made one? I'd love to see a pic. Anybody got links to existing products?

Powerlet has everything you need http://www.powerlet.com/ . I installed an outlet just under the seat on the right side of the bike (if you are sitting on the bike it is right under the frame rail just below the seat mounted to the black plastic cover for the under seat electronics). I can plug an electric vest or run s cord to my top case from this location.
Powerlet has kits, brackets and individual components.

PO put a couple of power let outlets on the plastics between the wind wings wired straight to the battery through a fuse. Nice placement actually.

I'd attach a picture but tapatalk pisses me off.

Come to think of it, so does this iPhone. Smugmug is finding its way to te list too.

How hard is that? Not hard with a computer. Impossible with an iPhone.

Since 80% you need the Power Outlet for is the Phone and GPS, I have added a double USB outlet waterproofed and small enough on my GSA.
This way you can use standard USB cable and don't need a Adapter for 12V - 5V.

Smoking is for the Bike, not for the Biker. LOL

    Sorry no pic.:freaky

Thanks everyone. I've searched threads and multiple product pages. The most important trick is to identify my charging needs. Mostly, I need to charge my Sena Bluetooth headset and my Android phone - both use a 2.1A USB. Rather than bother with accessory plugs, 3BR makes a nice little dedicated USB unit. (The other plugs may still come in handy for odd future needs.

I know it is not so clean, but that's what I did:

I just get this straight from after the Fuse block, without a dedicated on/off switch.
Read around and people says that the consumption of this USB outlet is very minimum, so I let it ON whenever I have the ignition ON.

I'm specifically trying to avoid making permanent incisions into my bike's parts. For the same reason, I had considered putting a plug into my aluminum side cases, for secure charging. But the thought of drilling even a small hole hurts me... :cry

    anything new on this?
I need to run SAE for the Charger and the compressor I figure I'll plug in USB to that. I don't see any USB outlets offered that have a clean method to mount to something other than dangling from a zip. I found one that has a clamp but it runs a blue LED when powered, and since I want this always hot that won't work.
