SNOW RUN UPDATE, from the club...


After much discussion at our meeting last night we have decided to cancel the Snow Run until summer.

The weather forecast says 40 degrees with freezing rain to rain then freezing rain for Sunday, cold temps in the beginning of next week, with a possible snow storm at the end of next week.*

It would be a lot of work in a short period of time just to run half the course and still risk more snow. So better to reschedule for summer than lose one of eight enduros for the year.

The new date will depend on the CT DEEP. As of now our perspective date would be Aug 15th, which is the same weekend of our Turkey Run.*

Too bad can't get a date late march .think we will have to do our own snow run as long as got studs on bike . Maybe 2 or 3 weekends from now conditions will be better
