Great product with lots of satisfied customers!

I found a wire candle holder at a goodwill store - the stove fits perfectly inside the wire cage and supports the pot 1" above the flames. Just throwing that out there for others to consider. The holder looks like a round open soup can with three little legs.

I've been using my stove for over three years now.

    :clap

Mine arrived yesterday, now I can still have coffee the next time the power is out for days due to ice.

Just want to add some irony, 3 days after the stoves arrived, we had another power outage for 12 hours.

We enjoyed hot food thanks to Shady and methyl hydrate!

I had been checking out some tutorials on you tube on how to make an alcohol beer can stove and I though …Yeah. I can do that. :hmmmmmLet’s see… buy the beer …empty the cans:1drink... find a sharp knife … play with fire...locate the Band-Aids... Then I checked Advrider and found this post here… Nine bucks? Oh hell yeah.:nod Email on the way.

    Thanks,

2 of each on order. Leaving for AZ and UT in March. This will be my main/only stove. I will also be getting the sterno stove for wind control. I will drill a series of holes in the sides of the sterno so I can adjust the height of the alcohol stove. Coffee is an absolute must first thing in the AM.:deal

So, after reading 25 pages I am shocked that no one has asked, just what do you drink that makes these wonderful stoves?

Well, for the most part it's been Bud and Bud Light that has come in these aluminum bottles. For a while, you could get Michelob Ultra too. So I was forced by my burning need to support my fellow ADVers to drink these concoctions. For a while, I could order Bud Light Lime in these bottles, and that was not so bad.

I was a homebrewer for many years, making my own ales right from grain. Bud Light around my house was long considered heresy.

Well, I managed to stomach the Bud Light Lime, and even become fond of it. Now for the last year or so I have not been able to get it and only have had Bud Light. I keep lime juice in the fridge to pour into my Bud Light to make it tolerable. Given the number of stoves I've sold over the last 5 years, this has been a copious amount of Bud Light. I just ran out of bottles with this last batch of stoves I made. Had to go buy a few more cases of Bud Light in aluminum bottles.

The sacrifices I make for you FF's. :1drink
