Couple of questions.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
From Haines to Alaska Highways, is the road paved?
To get to Haines, is it better to leave from Prince Rupert or from Bella Coola?
I’ll be traveling on FJR, so I’m trying to limit myself to more of paved roads or roads that FJR can manage.

Haines to Haines junction is paved.

Easy paved road out the Yellowhead hwy to Prince Rupert.

Bella Coola is more beautiful and remote, part graded gravel and fairly steep gravel switchbacks dropping down into Bella Coola Valley where it returns to pavement. I took a street bike out. FJR can handle it.
