    Howdy gang,
I'm not really a football fan, so I was thinking of riding the 950SE up to Johnson Valley next Sunday to check out the King of Motos race.

    Anyone going?:ear

It will be my first time checking this out so other than viewing from the $20 "donation" area, anyone have viewing location suggestions? (maybe gps coordinates also).

KOM is sat and sunday, and the (KOH) is during the week

you will get better viewing via their LIVE web broadcast as jimmy does not mark the course , nor will he let u know where it is going!
so u must be psychic to find the course!
we wasted a whole day the 1st event riding around trying to find them, only to have a few go by:roflas they were sooo spread out:lol3

The following verbage on the website makes me hope on site viewing might be better this year: "the decision was made to add some of the exciting qualifying and spectator friendly-elements of the original King of The Hammers race to the Motos race."

Since I wasn't there, I have no idea what that means but it does give me hope there might be some worthwhile viewing. So I'm going. Anyone else?

Jimmy runs a killer race. I like to watch the motos ride up the Hammer trails. Jack Hammer would be a good starter spot as its not far out and easy to find. Chocolate Thunder is not as hard but vary easy to find and will have a jumbo tron set up for up close shots of the pain. Extreme four wheelers for Christ has a great map on their web sight you can use to find your way around. http://www.extremewheelers4christ.org/map1.html
If you need help or have questions about where to go, you can look me up at Team UFO car 4427, 132 Poison Spyder in Hammer Town. Ask for Scott
    Have fun!

jonz, see you there, not as a spectator but as a volunteer. look for the silver sprinter van and a 350exc (orange 1 piece fuel tank - not so many of those), if you find it - got plenty of cold refreshements for you and others. most likely will be in jimmy's campsite area. my guess, jimmy will bring the freightliner motor home.

trucking saturday morning and leaving sunday evening.
