New features are live right now at Rally Navigator - Check it out and please share feedback or questions.

We have (finally) released our Narrow (Dual Sport) format - This was a much bigger project than I imagined and required some serious recoding of the roadbook (and cause a few bugs along the way)

Users are now able to select Wide or Narrow format in sheet or continuous roll format.

Sheet printing is 3 up and ready for the paper cutter.

Added a "Hide Roadbook" feature that opens up a lot of map space for users.

Improved the Reset to Zero function - Inserts 0.00 mileage in the Waypoint to further clarify the Reset.

Added a "Show or Hide Alternate Distance" feature

Added a page with Pro Rally Testimonials for events that have used Navigator (Thanks to those who had kind words)

It's live right now at Rally Navigator - Check it out and please share feedback or questions.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Excellent job.

Another suggestion is the wide page format printed 2 pages per sheet

    ie:
    <a href="http://s792.photobucket.com/user/enookway/media/Barellan03_02_zps4e56f996.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.advrider.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/e/enookway_Barellan03_02_zps4e56f996.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo Barellan03_02_zps4e56f996.jpg"/></a>

While the printing function was on the blink recently, I was printing by doing multiple screen dumps, then cropping out the route sheet to multiple image files, then printing 2 per sheet as above.

A5 (half of A4) is about standard 150mm roadbook width in this format. No paper offcuts as you only have to cut them in half, but slightly more sticky tape as the pages are shorter.

It can be done by selecting 2 pages per sheet in your print dialogue, but you end up with a shrunk version of the A4 print with all the white space.

As I said, only a suggestion, maybe after your hair has grown back from the last frustrating episode.

Hi, yesterday was my my first real attempt to write a roadbook using this software. Here in Sweden we have been using a a local software.
So, its quick and easy, but is there a quicker way to undo a "snap to road" click? If you dont agree with what had been done. Had to remove 100th of points, seems that it was no road on the map, but on GE it was.
Havent read all pages yet, buit is there away to let the roadbook know we pass a gas station? Zero that fuelrange?

Nice work, I'l will write all our roadbooks here now.

    Hello:

Simply click "undo" and your track will revert back before the long "snap" was created. We will also be adding a multiple point select and delete very soon. It's being tested right now.

Fuel range: drag a fuel icon into the proper waypoint and hit save. Correct Fuel mileage should show in the header.

    Hope that helps,
    Mike

Hi it s seems to be some software issues, Google earth plugin chrashes, loading take ages.
latest version of all chrome and earth. Uninstalled GE and same result.
    Older version?

Changed to Firefox and did the setup. Better but still a bit slow.

Highlight any Track Point (Mouse Over and it turns Yellow) - Hold "Control" and highlight another Track Point (Mouse Over) and all Points in between will be selected (All Points turn Yellow).

    Click "Delete Point" BAM!

Click "Undo" if you made a mistake.

Previously a user could only delete a single track point at a time.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

    Anybody else having issues?

This is the only bug report I have seen.

    Thanks,
    Mike

When scanning Google Earth for potential Routes, "Add Markers" to highlight interesting places, then create a Route that hits the most interesting places.

When done with Markers you can Show/Hide or Clear Markers.

We are working to improve user interface - the status bar is getting a little cluttered/confusing.

Marker Flags are NOT part of a track and will not be exported into a GPX File.

Check it out at Rally Navigator.

As always, I'm open for feedback or questions.

After a few more beers and some :clap I got it working. 306 km roadbook ready for test.

RN feels simple to work with, but I got some annoying things. I might be related to internet connection, copper 4-6Mbit/s.
    Undo - hidden feature :-)
Add a tulip sometimes works, sometimes not. Add a new point and no problem.
    Editor is great, so simple.

Still learning, got to do some more tonight, 400 km roadbook need be done.

Is there a way to reverse the direction of the .gpx after it has been uploaded?

I think this can be done in Garmin Mapsource software. Rally Navigator won't do that currently.
