I got them for 144 for both online. They last only about 1/2 the distance of the Heidenau.

...which appear to just be rebranded Shinko 705s.

I'm running a 705 on the back of my XC with a Kenda Big Block up front. Works pretty well.

We've got coyotes here, but I've never seen that behavior! Isn't that cool? There's so much more to hunting, than the part most people focus on. Of course you don't have to hunt to see cool stuff, but how many people are willing to sit in a tree for a few hours just to watch the woods?

I had Shinko's on my KLR for 3500 miles before I sold it. Loved them, good wet, good in sand, ok in mud. At 3500 miles of use, they were just starting to show "low country" wear, meaning developing a flat spot for long straight roads. I've wondered how they would work on the Tiger. I figured they would last a while on the KLR. Any thoughts on longevity on the Tiger?

Haven't had the 705 rear on my Tiger long enough to tell, but I ran 705s on my Wee-Strom and found the rear tire to be good for about 6000 miles. The 19" front 705 was good for over 10k miles. The Tiger takes the same rear tire as the Wee did, so unless you're hard on the throttle the longevity should be similar. And I would guess the 21" front would be good for over 10k as well.

On looks alone this is pure bike porn. The only thing that would make it Pop more would be the Arrow Pipe. -Damn you Rasthomas!
Lion BR- you're guilty as hell too. If I go for this bike it will be one of these two. Black or Orange.....Hummmmm

I am trying to find a Scorpion Carbon Fiber slip on for it. Had one on my wee strom and it sounded killer.

So, what are the chances that for the 2013 models Triumph adds the handle bar controls like they have on the new Explorer? Nice pics XC:D

What I was complaining about on our trip...what the Tiger 800 is missing...and they have even added the ambient temperature gauge so many readers of my blog said I was a princess wanting on the Tiger. I added a cheap battery operated gauge. On the our Beemers they have this...see below...it is something if the Tiger 800 adds...we would buy tomorrow. What's not clear is if the ABS is a one button on/off set up
