Hey klpgaso, i'm thinking seriously of getting one of these(650 trail)can you give me any insight of what you though of the bike, also how did it handle with the 19'' front wheel...thanks
Check out my ride impressions of the Trail at www.aprilia.com.my/myclubaprilia/forum/viewtopic.php?t=55 FYi I am just bank executive in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia not a bike review pro. While at it check out the local Aprilia scene here. Have fun .. Bye
Alaska Pegaso and rider, Wasilla Lake skating rink. Studded Kenda Trackmasters keep me on the trail all year, no matter what the road condtions. And they crash well....... :huh
One of my riding buddies has a Pegaso (Peggy Sue) - the one with the Rotax engine. He's presently working through replacing the standard carbs with items from a Suzuki GSX750R, as the standard carbs are (apparently) crap. The Suzuki items, while externally identical to the originals, have different internals and are much more adjustable. I'll try and get him to sign up to this site and post more detail.
Hey Guys im a bit late to the party but If you want to check out some Pegaso's take a look at www.borneobikingadventures.com The website is just about to be updated with new pics as most of the bikes shown have been sold and replaced with a fleet of 6 brand new Pegaso Strada Trails. Such a big improvment over the older versions. you will se pics of a big 1100 Vtwin Honda that you would be amased at where they take it just for the laugh!! In my opinion also much better than F650GS as well. Im lucky enough to ride with these guys quite often (im in a couple of the pics!) and they are great guys the main man is ex british motocross champion Bryan Wade who knows a thing or two about offroad riding!! Hope you like Ben
Further to my post about the carbs on the Pegaso, the owner corrected me as follows: I wrote "One of my riding buddies has a Pegaso (Peggy Sue) - the one with the Rotax engine. These are essentially the same carb but with a bigger hole down the centre. from 33 to 36mm. Just as adjustable than the original. ie can replace main jet, can adjust needle height and pilot mixture and idle. can not replace pilot jets.. Will give you full report when complete." Currently he has installed an O2 sensor in the pipe and using that to refine the jetting. More news as it comes to hand...
