Yep it would be nice if he's right, but being injured I'm not sure if he's ridden the Ducati in anger yet.
I agree that hopefully he's right; but I have my doubts. And I wonder what Hayden thinks about that statement? Kind of insulting to his fellow Merrikan. He's probably thinking "Yeah yeah, you'll see".
How crazy would it be if he beat Rossi this year? I don't think that will happen, but it would sure be insane.
We will see about the Ducati's when the talking stops and the racing starts. (FWIW I'd love to see them kick ass.)
They (Ducati) were all talk and no results in 2011 and 2012. In fact 2011 was always gonna be a learning year for Rossi, and then they´d build him a winner bike for 2012. Or that´s what they said. But nothing much happened. If anything happened, it was the top CRT bikes getting awfully close to the factory Ducatis in some races. Don´t know, how much credibility they have left right now. I´d like to see Spies up front, though.
Perhaps he meant when it was being displayed somewhere, like in a snow drift? Possibly as a drag race machine? You know if you put a flat slick on it and geared it right, I am sure it might be a NHRA contender in some class. Or maybe they just need to go the HD route and make a class for it. Then it would definetely be a better bike, like sort of. 69 has done what he can
>"He said: "I think the bike is better than what people have seen in the last two years." Dunno. It may be that he is 'right' for the bike, but then again... 2013 will tell.
