Can't get my TAT tracks to work. Please help!

Hello all, I am planning on leaving Sunday to head out on the TAT.
I was going to fully run GPSKevins tracks, but found out the route that Sam has thru TN leaving from Tellico is much better (and is a few hours closer to here)

I bought Sams TN GPS tracks, but for the life of me, I can't get them to show up on my Nuvi 2555lmt or Nuvi 1450lmt.
I had no trouble with GPSkevins tracks showing up.

I have tried everything I know to do in base camp (which isn't much)

Is it because SAMs file is gpd and not gpx like Kevin's?

Please help, I am due to leave in a day and half and am trying not to freak out.

Sam didn't know either.

Thanks!

I just took a look at Garmin's site at the Specs for both GPS & neither has 'Tracks' listed as supported?

Shit.
I thought it was tracks? All this shit is so confusing.

I put Kevin's download on the gps and bam, a clear route highlighted by a magenta line, easy as you please.

I do the same thing with Sams download and I see nothing. ?

Basecamp/Garmin/tracks/routes has got to be the most non intuitive and aggravating crap ever for a newbie.

I don't have time now, leaving day after tomorrow.
I would, but I thought I was golden as I had no issues with Kevin's map.

Clearly there is something I am screwing up here.

Sounds like you're aiming to ride most of TAT but only paying Sam for a tiny part of his hard work. Karma is painful!
