    I was concerned about that very thing, but when tested this past summer in a rocky downhill tip over, the light just rotated sideways on it's mount, no contact. Sorry, no pic, it was the first time and had to get it back on it's feet ASAP lest it stay there... :fpalm

    So those covered bridges...

    Can someone edumacate me on why the covers?

    Is it just to keep the big wood from rotting or is there something else to it?

    Bye gawd pluric,I do believe I rode right thru that bridge yrs ago. My bike was black so I didn't get a good look,goin to fast. Used to ride up there on the way to Newfoundland & just to putt putt around. Used to be NICE riding. That bent bridge in the other picture in West 'Bye Gawd" Virginia? Nother great place to ride.Lottsa curves,coal dust too. Nice folks.
