Do vans or RVs count? I love my Vanbulance. From another thread. It's what 4 months laid up on ebay will get you, a low mile E350 4x4. These F650 & 750 converts would be fun. --- You can buy this used UNICAT for $189k http://www.unicat.net/en/pics/GMAN14264Doka-Ler-2.html http://www.unicat.net/en/info/GMAN14264Doka-Ler.html This couple have a nice van rig with a good write up: http://s94153639.onlinehome.us/sportsmobile/index.html Revcon makes a sweet class A 6x6. The class B is nice too.
Maybe not as odd but it's the coolest truck I have. This is the first time I've uploaded to ADV what was on PB, but I just made another $35 donation using the link at the bottom of the page. To me, ADV is worth an occasional $35.
When I bought the truck I also bought a welder to get it back together. It WAS an Oklahoma school-district truck until the '90s. AND I don't drive it from December until March when the salt is washed off the roads. This pickup saw this sucker coming.
Really cool truck converted to an RV. driven by a couple that I think were German. I stopped for gas just north of Salt Lake and they rolled in while I was taking a break. Had bumper stickers on it from different rallys they had attended, some of them in Africa. wish I had time to stop and talk to them about their rig but I had miles to cover before nightfall.
The coolest truck in the world is the one your wife gives you for your birthday. <img src="https://vanceforster.smugmug.com/photos/123436065-M.jpg">
Big Mogs are cool. They need those sand ladders because they have no speed and weight a bunch...or they they just look cool. That one is clean.
It gets us out there. There are some amazing things less than twenty miles outside of Vegas. We like to go out and find the primitive man sites.
The sand ladders did looked like they had been used some. Would be a cool rig for some remote camping in Moab or parts around there. just need a way to carry my 450 EXC on it and it would be even better. I bet the fuel mileage on that bad boy isn't too good though.
