I was lucky because it was in my garden when it failed and not out on a track or road. They don't know what has caused the problem but I will update this space when they do. The mileage at failure was 616 miles just ready for its service.
I wouldn't take any one's accessories away from them, I just want to be next in line. Your safe, I'm not going to put on a skidplate for a month or two and who know which one when it comes to buying one. John
My controls use about 180mm of the bar. That is with the lever moved as far away as possible. My 7/8" bars have 220mm of grip/control area. 200mm is about 8" and 800mm is 31.5" The bar they are listing is the freestyle bar or called woods high bend according to motosport(800mm wide). The woods bend is slightly lower and 775mm wide.
No, not the skidplate, my bike! Waited two and a half months to get one, now the weather is not so great for riding around here. Last couple of winters here have been mild, but who knows? Lots of regions know it's either going to be mild, or put the bike away for 3-4 months, I'll ride if there's no ice, as long as it's above freezing.
Trainman sorry I realized that right after the post. At least it now looks like 3 possible options for a folding shift lever now. As soon as I get mine I will put up some pics and opinions.
yep i have it on my bike and i have no complaints, haven't dropped the bike to test its durability but looks and function are nice
I did. Muffler and header are on their way. He only had 4 left at the time I placed my order, however.
The Easton bars/riser deal is still fubared for International customers. I'm gong to phone in my order (again) today at lunch. Want to bet he gives me a hard time? He wouldn't take my order over the phone yesterday because I was in Canada "It has to be done online". Nothing is easy anymore.
Thanks for the heads up, placed the order, I'll hold off on screwing things up until the manual gets here... Cory
I called and this is what I was told. They are in stock. They were working on the site for the past couple of days. They said to clear your cookies, set your country code and place your order. If it can't be done thru the site they said you can call and arrange to do it via e-mail. Here's the Canadian link. http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/2...iversal-78-bar-mount-kit?cc=CA&mmy_source=pdp
Fuck it, I'm done. Called twice and told both times they won't take a phone order from Canada. Tried removing my shopping cart, clearing cache, deleting cookies etc. Same shit. Flake outfit to deal with if your Canadian. I'll keep my money.
Oh most definitely. I'm a programmer (for 25+ years) and believe me when I say, despite 'progress', nothing is easy anymore.
Just called them, Fella was very helpful, but pretty much talked me outta them. He said they were a really High bar, great for tall riders who stand alot while riding, which really I'm not that tall and don't ride that aggressive to stand all that often..but that's just me. 1300 sets available and they are on sale until sold out. The price is too good to turn down, but just don't sound like they'll fit my style. So I guess I'll leave it up to our American owners who have already ordered them to give us some reviews/pics when they get them set up...1300 sets!!
Hay Guys, why we are on the handlebar upgrades, what is the highest riser or bar that I can us without having to alter the cables, is a 1" rise too much. Thanks, John
I bought 3 different bends so I can pick my favorite. These are what I got. EXP M 94mm 56mm 14.5 degree CR Hi, Windham, McGrath bend EXP M 92mm 46mm 11.6 degree KTM, Suzuki bend EXP M 109mm 36mm 8.7 degree Woods Hi, Freestyle bend I only got one set with the 7/8" adapter mounts. I got two sets of mounts for CRF250/450 and other USD forks. I don't have the Freestyle bars yet, but I like the KTM/Suzuki bend the best so far. I'm tall but have long arms. I talked to the guy you did on Wednesday. He didn't like the Freestyle bars on his KTM. He tried to talk me out of them also. It didn't work.
