271 Safety Tips for Motorcyclists...
While I tend to think that, because I've been riding for years, I know everything there is about safe motorcycle skills, a site like this one reminds me that there's alot more to safe riding than countersteering and ATGATT. And that I've forgotten alot of what I learned over the years.
I found it this past weekend, and I've been reading it ever since... http://www.msgroup.org/articles.aspx?Set=001-033 |

On a related note, How to Ride a Scooter Safely is proving to be a very nice website.
It's really targeted at scooter riders, who are even less likely than most motorbike riders to have taken a safety course, and may well fall into the "it's just a scooter, how dangerous can it be?" mentality that plagues this hobby. But the posts are thoughtful, easy to understand, and clearly written by someone who knows their stuff. A good thing to link new or interested scooter riders, I think. |
