Last Ride of the Year 2012
<!-- #dg-post-title --><!-- message -->I'm trying to organize a Last Ride. Will Oklahoma winter weather permit?

Ok, so check this out. We could start from Natural Falls State Park in West Siloam Springs, Ok and turn to the backroads. There is a low water slab across the Illinois River and then ride into Chewey for a snack break at the Chewey Store. From there, follow the river south to Combs Bridge, then around Sparrowhawk and Bathtub Falls to Pumpkin Hollow Road and out to Briggs. Then into Tahlequah to B & J Restaurant to end the ride and say farewells.

This is mostly gravel road and VERY scenic backroads. We might have to hire a farmer with a tractor and flatbed depending on the depth of the water that day.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

We haven't done an official last ride, but for the last 3 years we've been going to Camp Gruber for a Hangover Ride on Jan 1st.

If that run is in January I will miss it. I leave right after the first and try to stay south of Interstate 4 for a couple months. I can help by posting in my businesses and web pages. If you have a flyer email that to me.

I'm in and a few other Arky's I'm thinking will show up. Starting point is only 7 miles from the house. Nice Ride - did it last weekend. Sounds like a few of us are going to meet for breakfast at Kathy's Korner in Siloam around 9:00 before heading over that way.

Sounds like a good shake down run for my dr350se that i bought as a dirt bike with no title and converted back to a dual sport with a title.

1994 It was originally sold as a titled dual sport. The guy I bought it from had lost the title. The guy he bought it from lived in Kansas so it had never been registered in Okla. The lady at the tag office thought it would be easiest to register it as a dirt bike and then apply for a dual sport conversion title. Took a month or so but pretty easy. I did buy a dual sport kit and eliminated a bunch of wiring and it looks a little better. Not much but a little. I will try to get some pics up.
