Lot of people sick this Holiday and I just know I'll get sick for the first week of the new year...off to a great start :huh

It's only minus 20c here right now...frozen hell :lol3 Nieces and nephews will be out wrecking my sled tomorrow, so I can only hope spring comes quickly and I can get back on the bike...right after I do a ton of maintenance to it :eek1

Here's wishing everyone...well not everyone :evil a Happy New Year!!

All the best in 2013 to all of you!
I'm not sure whats ailing you Ron but I've got the sore throat/stuffed head/feeling crappy/cold thing going on for a week now. Talked to a buddy in Sudbury and he's down with it as well as another in England suffering as well. This crap really gets around!

How about a pic from last May to cheer us up...

    Happy new year to all.

Has been an interesting year. Hope the new year brings as much good cheer as the tail end of 2012 gave me.

Just beating that cold ( so far ) is great.

    Must be the Scotch.

Cross-posted from the Dr. Cool thread, both here and on the Winnipeg and Surrounding Areas thread...

I was just thinking that today would be a good day to order another Dr. Cool sticker - you know - it IS Tuesday, it IS a New Year, and if he were here, many folks would be tipping a glass with him...Ordering a sticker would allow you to figuratively offer a "Happy New Year" to him, while supporting the family he left behind.

I have a Dr. Cool sticker on my bike, and want to have a spare one to put somewhere I travel to this year...Let's see if we can get 100 ADVrider inmates to order a sticker, and do the same - so we can fill this thread with Dr. Cool sightings over the next year.

MotoAxe, I am wondering whether there have been arrangements made for using PAYPAL ???

    Get well Ron.
I'm hoping I didn't catch anything last night. New years partys are great germ spreading events.
I did try and sterilize with a bottle of tequila though. :evil

I rode my 1973, 350F9, Kawasaki around Thunder Bay on New Years Day in 1974... Only fell off three times due to icy conditions.
There was no way to stop going down Dufferin Street hill. LOL

Thinking of building something like that myself. Will be interested to see your ideas and pictures.

NIce bike table Greg. I should have something like that, maybe a nice metal one. I hate straightening up after working, leaned over and having a sore back.......

Took the old DR650 out for the first ride of 2013 today. Not much of a ride - went to Metropolitan Moose for a cup of tea, then to the lookout 6 km west of Kakabeka ( near Mokomon Rd), then home to Murillo. The temp was okay but 60 km/h winds made it somewhat unpleasant, and led to some drifting snow across Oliver road. But it still felt good to be out riding.
