    I have home swapped before
    Quebec
    Puerto Vallarta
    Vancouver
    Sydney
    Local weekend getaways too

I know how to make sure the key is available, The important info is on the dining table and the importance of keeping the place clean and tidy. My place will be nice and ready for your arrival with a wine bottle and even guide books for you to use.

I have 2007 VStrom that has 72,000 miles on it, burnig oil now, but it's doing just fine. If you can ride it, insure it, then you can use it for up to a reasonable amount of miles. You have to arrange for the insurance and prove it. Even if you end up renting, it's still a great deal.

Riding around this area is absolutely amazing. You can go for day trips and overnighters from my house and have a fabulous ride in all directions. Nevada is not that far away. Yosemite, Big Sur, Wine Country, San Francisco and the Sierra Mountains including Lake Tahoe all await your twist of the throttle.

I am going to England and Europe for the whole month of July. I want to home swap with someone. You can use my place for the most of the month and I just need your place for about two weeks! I will be traveling from England and love hot springs. If there are any in the area, a big plus for that, although it's not required.

I have a one bedroom apartment in Oakland on a nice, quiet street. I'd be happy to arrange an online viewing of my place to serious swappers only.

I'm off on vaycay in the desert for ten days so I"ll check back to any IM's after that.

I have plenty of friends, coworkers and family as references and you'll need to provide yours as well.

Have you tried VRBO ? "Vacation rental By Owner"
I have had good luck with them. This would be a very nice idea, like the tent space thread. I would like to see it expanded. I don't have a place in Europe, so nothing to trade.

I have tried them, yes. Just thought I would check here as well. No hits so am moving forward. VRBO is rentals, by the way. There are swap sites out there though.

Hey Suz! I am planning to go to Europe this summer, too - we should talk! I have a friend who has an apartment in Italy not far from Lucca (fly into Pisa as the closest). I'm looking for a motorcycle to rent for the trip - let's compare notes!

    And... *bump*

Hi Jenn, Just read this. And I just texted you today too. I can be reached via text and email only in July. I've got plans all laid out now but there are three days in July unplanned right now. I can tell you more if you want. PM me or email me. Suz!
