Memphis Fire BBQ in Stoney Creek is a nice ride and the food is terrific. If you haven't any clogged arteries, I suggest the ranch fries with your order.

Memphis Fire Bar-B-Q is a winner. Pulled pork sandwiches are a specialty.

Anyone know if they have moved or what. I know they haved closed a couple of times when business is slow, but all the photos of the place still show the original locaction.
I know that in the fall it was in the only spot I remember (in Harcourt, beside the gas station; was it called "Algonquin Cookhouse"?) The owners bought the diner in Wilberforce and if truth be told I like the Wilberforce place better even thogh it is more of a diner than a restaurant.

I really like the Panzerottos in "La Gondola" in Hastings. You can have them the proper way (Deep fried) or Oven baked if you want. The place isn't anything to write home about but the Panzos are great! (I have never tried anything else there.)

It is on the west side of 45 on the north side of the lock there.

Thanks for the updates Tom
I have any number of routes I can take going to my place up north, I will make one to go through Hastings next time to check it out.
Good to hear from you again.
