Kennedy Meadows III (LA Weekend Riders, et al) August 27-29

Well folks, it's that time of the year again! Riding the Kern Plateau is something many of us look forward to each riding season. This riding weekend has something for everyone. Trails range from wide fireroads to narrow single track. There is something up there for everyone to enjoy. There is also sweet single track for both the intermediate rider and expert rider. The single track up there offers spectacular views of lush meadows and flowing creeks to dip into.

We'll be camping at the same spot as previous years: Troy "OVERFLOW" (pull in and go all the way to the back).

Yeah, I'd been hoping to see another trip this year. Had a blast last year!! Gotta check the calendar, but hopefully we're in.

Hope to be ready for this one, even if i'm on the easy stuff. any help on transport from hb or nearby would be huge for me.

What are the temps like up there this time of year?

Hot on the floor, cooler up top...

looks like a blast, whats the arrangement for camping? Is camping free? im interested in coming down, Ill have a small truck and would leave friday afternoon. When does everyone plan on showing up? I can get their late friday early saturday and would go home sunday night/ monday morning.

So put me down as an IN, just let me know what to do as far as camping and truck space. I wont need tent space Ill just crash in the truck.

It's overflow camping and I believe free, I was never charged and ranger came to camp several times to check sparkies. I'll be there thur eve leavin mon. Plenty of truck/tent space . Most show late fri and leave sun
