WetFest 2013

OK, someones gotta do it

I know Direwolf has been losing sleep over this, no one is stepping up for it.............and I ain't got much time to put to much into it, BUTT...............

WetFest will return to Skamokawa Wa for 2013


The Pagoda has been reserved along with 5 River view camp spots for September 5th, 6th and 7th.



There are other river camp spots available along with RV spots and as of 1/9/13 all of the Yurts are available.
Tent camping is also allowed in the large open area around the Pagoda.

This Just In 8/20/13

I received a call from Janet at Vista Park to let me know that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be moving sand (lots of it) the weekend of WetFest

The Bad:
-Trucks moving sand 24/7

The Good:
- The work will take place on the west end of the park (we will be on the east end)
- Won't have to worry about any noise we make.
- Janet told me that since we will be paying for the Pavilion, anyone that camps around the Pavilion will not have to pay.

She was very apologetic for this, said it was beyond her control, and if we wanted to change weekends we could (not going to happen).

Thanks Rashy, I'm in, ( not sure as volunteer..?) at least till I know if I'm out. Maybe see if I can talk Karl into coming along...

In! Also, I have a vacation place not far from there so i can help out with the firewood or anything else you might need.

It's still a long way away, but right now I'm IN,,,,,, unless I'm not.
