It's good to see a Gear up being used for the purpose for which it was built. You put some knobby tires on that bad boy, and there ain,t too many roads you can't ride...But, carry a winch:lol3:lol3

Outstanding ride report. Enjoyed it. I felt like I was right there with you.

I think I will go buy a Ural.

What an excellent way to get your new Ural. Neat to see the flags flying in the factory, I recognized a few, Cuba, US, and Canada stood out easily. Guess they show support for their trade partners:clap

Viva Russia I have to get over there on a bike, the scenery is unreal:wink:

Keep up the good work with the ride report!

Suddenly the sceptic in me has to wonder how this hard running Ural manages to keep going without a break down, and it's pretty good looking too. Too bad its only good for 25 miles per gallon and 60 miles an hour or so I've read. But they seem to have the reliability thing worked out. What a great road report. I hope we see more.

Wow that's a good looking Ural, looks low and mean..... :) I bet it drives very nice on pavement, much better than my Gear Up thru the corners and such.... Maybe we should all have two Urals, one Gear Up and one Retro, heheh. Two Urals would cost the same as one new Harley or BMW.....:lol3
