    Sting - 10 Summoners' Tales
Any Bruce Hornsby (Playlist, Harbor Lights, etc)
Throw in a classical "Best Of" recording for variety (Chopin is relaxing for long trips)

    Just for starters. :D

    Johnny's Horton's "North to Alaska" rings a bell. I loved it:lol3

I also think they custom molded ear plugs are the only way to go as our waterproof otterboxes for ipods.

Satellite Radios don't work when you go way South, fine for the North thou.

Really? You're asking us to recommend music for you and you don't give a hint at what you like or even take the tiny effort to fill in your profile? How lazy can you get? Do you have a life of your own or do you still live with mommy who does everything for you? :dunno

Kate Smith rocks. God Bless America.

My bad, I'm not running one either. I like my old mp3 player enough.

--Carbon Leaf's album "Indian Summer". Great album! That album and "Echo Echo" have some excellent travel songs. In particular: What About Everything, Life Less Ordinary, On Any Given Day, and Shine.

--Emancipator "Soon it Will Be Cold Enough" is great for windy roads

--Norah Jones for the long, chilled out sections, or The Little Willies (her rolickin' country side band) if regular Norah is too slow for you
