    Mick in 97 was freakin unbeliveable. In a 15 race series he qualified 2nd for the first 3 races and was on pole for the next 12 races.

    Won the first two races, came second in the third, then went on a ten race winning spree. Came second in the penuiltimate race and crashed out of the last race ( while leading at Phillip Island).

    His results for the season looked like this - 1,1,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,DNF!!

    When we are counting Marquez's current winning streak, why isn't the last race of last year being counted (pole & win ) or is it only the current season valid.

    In this round, the Ioda Team can not race due to their available riders being injured, are Dorna imposing any sanctions on the Team due to their unfortunate incapacity to race??

    Marquez got pole in Valencia, but Lorenzo got the win. So his pole streak is being counted, but not his race streak.
