A little over 1/2 if I remember correctly. You won't be disappointed. The baffle slips in/out easy so you can experiment as you like as well.
What a nice looking bike! This is a screaming deal for LV's for those interested, http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=722460 .
Have a bit of a dig at it with a blade or such, round the back so you can't see it if I'm wrong. My Arrow was like this.
i contacted indysuperbikes and they confirmed that there's a film. whoops,lol..... thanks for looking out! I updated the pics .................
What's the story with these EVO II pipes? Are they being discontinued? Is there a new version coming out?
mAthosalas that is a sweet looking bike you got there. After reading this entire thread I think my decision has been made for which exhaust I'll be purchasing and that sexy Leo Vince will be mine! But I can't believe I missed that sale at Renazco I would also like to inquire about if the EVO II pipes are being discontinued. I also noticed that the LV one EVOII Aluminum can is not longer post on the Renazco site, does anyone know why? I do love that carbon fiber can, but it's a little out of my price range and I don't trust myself if I lay down my bike :/ Thanks!
I inquired directly to Leo Vince. They said that the EVOII is not being discontinued. I just ordered the stainless one from Indy Superbikes (http://www.indysuperbikes.com/) for $327.
I offered too much of a good deal and someone here called Leo Vince. Leo Vince pulled the plug on us offering such good discounts publicly so if anyone wants an exhaust just give us a call for best pricing anywhere. .
Just squeeked in on this killer deal and mounted it up last weekend. Love the sound and seems to have a little more throttle response, but I also installed the HighTechCoonass booster plug so hard to tell exactly which mod showed the most improvement. Its a tight fit with the LV carbon can under the wolfman luggage racks. How much clearance should there be?
I'm not sure how much there "should" be, but on my previous generation LV Carbon it was very tight to my Holan balanced racks. Like 1/16". I took a piece of rubber tubing made for hot water and put it between the rack and the exhaust. It wraps around the tubing and holds itself in place. No problems yet after 10,000 miles.
I jumped on this deal too, but it's more than a tight fit for me - it simply doesn't work. About 1/4" off from being able to get the mounting bolt in. The pipe hits the rack and the bolt just won't line up. An adaptor is in the works.
Love the looks and sound of the Leo Vince on my F800GS. Works fine with no fitment issues when used with the BMW Vario mounting racks.
