Thanks for the congrats and the welcome. Hoping at some point that I can contribute to guiding other inmates purchases or give advise on a build. I have some skill with a MIG welder, as a hobby, and hope to make some one-off accessories/farkles. I have read about a home process of powder coating but not sure what the total expense would be or if it would be easier to send the items out. I like the idea of some powder coated mandrel bent engine guards and custom bash plate. We will see what can be done, or if it will be better to stick to the existing after market. Still several months of winter left in a heated garage and a troubled mind.

Just set up terms with my dealer. $8259 OTD. My credit union has 2.4% interest, pretty good. Only 10% off on accessories, but free shipping to my door. Trying for crash guards and a bash plate. Because they don't have any low seats in stock, they are unable/willing to change it out from the OEM. I am hesitant to lower the bike with a link since it is already slung low for a dual sport. Will post when the bike is in my garage.
