    I've been wondering what happened to you guys. I can't wait to get the details. I've done that trip by bus- must have been hard work.

    Got on the plane in Charlotte, short hop to Newark, NJ to meet the 777 to New Delhi. 15 hours, 3 meals, 5 movies later we would arrive. This is the bus to India;

    (as previously posted) we made it to Sharad's place to get the "Green Monster", the 350 Bullet I will ride on this trip.
    Traffic in Delhi was overwhelming at first, until I came to understand how it works. The congestion makes it neccesary to take "liberties" to get where you have to go. So many vehicles/people and only so much room.

    your adventure reminds me of what I have missed. It is a nice confirmation that I know that I earned my spurs and am ready to get back in the saddle. Subscribed and waiting for the next installment. Thanks.

    Watching the street outside the shop was an experience all it's own. Busy town this Delhi, constant coming and going.

    I wonder how many Adventures this bike has had... workhorse? messenger? family transport? it waits in silence to be part of another story.

    We planned on an early start, but as plans go... we started well after sun-up. The road out of Delhi is like any other city, busy and hot this time of year. We got spread out a bit so Chris went in search of Sharad while I took this shot of my stead loaded up.

    We pushed as far as we could, Minali was still quite a way so we stopped. The place is called "Rock-n-River Hotel". On the way, however, I learned a lesson about overrtaking. Missed a pass and diverted to the right, sideswiping a car - bent the brake lever, scared the crap outa me!
