1989 Kawasaki KDX 200 street legal 2 stroke enduro motorcycle. I have title in hand. I acquired the bike from my cousin who is the original owner. He nick named it 911 because every time he rode it he ended up in the hospital! It is a very torque-y bike. The bike needs new tires, TLC and to be ridden. It had been sitting for awhile when I acquired it and on my test ride it fired right up and ran like a scalded dog till I sucked up some of the dry rotten foam air filter into the carbeurator :-( I haven't had time to fiddle with it and I won't have time to mess with it for the foreseeable future so I've decided to sell it. $600 is a very fair price and I won't take a penny less. Only $500--and per the pics, it's complete, has 6K on the odo, and a plate, but no title. Doesn't quite add up. But if it were closer, I'd be really interested in it--after running the VIN thru the Sheriff's Dept. database, of course.

This DR200 may be 10 yrs old but it only has 2K on the odo and looks pert near new, a deal for $1300. Great starter bike for anybody lookin to try out some BW/EG riding on the cheap; I remember r_bin used to ride his DR200 with us a couple years ago, and he never slowed us down!

Nice catch on the forks, missed that one. Don't think it was stolen from the container as it has a plate. I'm thinking these options:

1. Stolen from registered owner
2. Lien on title
3. Bought from registered owner but title never transferred

Probably #3, perhaps #2.

I had to lower my '00 KLR that much for the buyer (and install lowering links, corbin low seat, cut side stand, etc.) for a fly and ride several years ago. Some folks just don't feel comfortable on a KLR at the stock height

I didn't really think it was stolen from a container, just a bad joke.
However, just because there is a plate on a bike does not mean it is "the" plate for the bike.

In fact if it was stolen, the original plate would be the last thing I would leave on there.
