Spring is upon us, give or take a couple of months.

Indeed, has been a long winter

looking forward to not needing a heated vest
Still felt great

How do those tires and rims work in the dirt? Do they bite ok?

The tires are anakee 2's- have been as good as any non-knobbies Ive ridden. THey are very good on that tacky clay stuff. Okay in gravel. Everything is bad in mud/sand, save knobbilies. The Anakee 2s have been very good on pavement

I have had no issues with the cast rims, but typically dont do "heavy" offroad. My understanding is the pre 07 cast rims are from a different make/manif (German) than the post 07/08 (non german), not sure how much that matters.

My kid has misplaced my camera :huh

Trade the kid in for a nice camera.

A northern gravitational pull took me to Bear Lake last week

And a shortened side trip to Tony Grove, Mr Salty approved

After the last shot, Mr Salty saw a parade of slow trucks coming up the far side, and thought it was time to get the hell out of there before we were committed to a 30 MPH yo-yo decent following them home.

Hey, that's absolutely good for me. I'm an 'easy feeder'. I want NOTHING to do with food prep. If I wouldn't starve, I'd quit food.

Ran down to visit my parents- mom has had some health bumps (but improving)

Water still way down- spring really hasnt filled in much of the puddles




Recent rains greened up the upper slopes of HWY 65
