Moto-Geezer

The Springfield Motorcycle Club announces their first Moto-Geezer to be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 in West Warren, Ma. It is a fun ride where participants compete to maintain an average speed of 30MPH over 160+ miles and special tests across the scenic back roads of Massachusetts and Connecticut. It is similar to a Moto Giro but is open to any licensed rider using any motorcycle with a KICKSTARTER. Awards given to top finishers. We've set up a Facebook page for the event and plan to post results and photos of the ride on it.

The route sheets are done, there will be two loops, a morning and an afternoon loop of about 80 miles each with special tests along the way and coming back to the start in between. There is also a hero section for anyone looking for a little extra fun.
The routes will be arrowed and route sheets will be handed out. We will have sweep vehicles available in case of a breakdown.
The event will go on rain or shine and includes dinner under the pavilion at the end of the ride.
So drag out those classics and enjoy some fun and scenic roads in Ct. & Mass.
