Setting up a trip to the Carrizo Plain the weekend of November 16 thru 18, 2012.

I'm trying to get a bunch of sidecar riders together for this, though two wheeled ADV riders are welcome.

Camping at the KCL campground. Farm rules. You bring your own shit, eat your own food, drink your own booze and keep your own junk running.

Please reply here if you are interested. I will be posting this on Soviet Steeds too for the local Ural guys.

If I get my rig back together by then, I might ride out. I love it out there.

I did. I sold two this last year & blew the tranny in my GS in June. Got a new-to-me tranny a couple of weeks ago & am going to start the install today.

    THANKS for the heads up!:deal

After Griffith Park Rally I took my bike to a VW car show locally and my clutch is TOAST! Just got in some of the parts. But probably wont have time to work on the bike much in the next month. I am dealing with some of those once in a lifetime family issues that has taken over my life for the time being. Plus my first Grandchild is due:clap,
So Momma has made it clear what I can and can't do for a couple weeks. 99% of the time is my time. Well at least I like to think so. :lol3

I think I might make it Greg. Count me in.
May be towing the Greevorex again. Thought the Zundapp could be rolling as a solo by now,
but too much stuff has gotten in my way. If I'm lucky I'll bring both....

Should be working on a quarter moon that weekend. Temps will be cooler.
Fine with me, nice fire would be just the thing.
Could be mud on the ground, keeps the dust down.

Are you guys going to be riding in or towing? My plan would be to ride the Gobi in but could also throw her up on the jumping jack trailer.

    Anyway....
What was the deal with obtaining a fire permit? I forget..
Don't want the BLM Ranger swooping down on me in that rad Explorer with the splashy graphics.

    Anyone..?
Just want to play it clean.

    Hi Don

I got the fire permit online from the BLM website. I'll try to find the link and post it here.
