6205 is a very common bearing and shouldn't be hard to find... That bearing is used in snowmobile track rollers so any place that services snow machines should have them... Princess Auto also has them but the nearest to you would probably be Kelowna... It's too bad you didn't notice it sooner as I carry one spare 6205 in my on board tools along with a spare front bearing...

Pack the bearing with some Vegimite. Then again, you'll have nothing left to help you start the day after a big night...

Hodgo. diverdown here in Kamloops. don,t go further south, those to places you mentioned are small towns and doubt they would have your parts, besides I think it is there long weekend there. try Lordco part store or call me and I can go to the KTM dealer here in Kamloops and either ship it on the buss or ride it down. my cell number is on my card I gave to you. diverdown the KLR Hack rider

ya just got to love good old USA & Canadian brothers.

Thanks for the offer Bob very generous man.

What pissed me the most is the failed bearing didn't even have 10K on it

Chris & Wyatt mentioned Glacier & Road to the Sun in one sentence & that seemed to stick in my mind. Plus i live near the coast in Oz & it is an island so i figured what the heck.

I was kinda considering the Calgary Stampeed too but thought better of crossing the border again.

Yeah I heard Chris would be over here, hell love it more than UN ZUD. aka Kiwi Land.

Heres a bit more of an update on my travels, plus a rough map of where i have been the last three days.

The new all USA wheel bearing seems to be running fine. I am getting a little more than 500kms to a tank of juice on the 91/94 fuel, but the low octane drops it back sometimes more than 50kms per tank.
This is the USA / Canadian border... just a ditch.

Crossed the borders of Washington Idaho & Montana, noticing that helmets were not compulsory in Montana. Still left mine on though.
This was just out of Bonners Ferry

And this was along the Koontenai river & moyle river.

As i mentioned above Yatman & Canadian Chris mentioned Glacier park & the road to the sun.
Now i must say for my $12USD at the gate i was more impressed by the Glacier National Park & the Sun road than i was Yosemite.
Some pictures for you non reader types out there.

Great pics. I've been told about Glacier as well....on the list.

Something wrong with your milage or you've got an extra large tank or my math is crap or the 38mpg average I keep seeing posted is wrong.

500k is approx 300 miles and standard tank you'd not be wanting to go below say .8 us gallons left in tank. Wiki says you've got a 5.8 us gallon tank. Wiki might be wrong of course. Surpised wiki also says the 990 is down to 5.2 us gallons.

Anyway 5 us gallons into 300 miles is 60mpg. :huh
