Hogging both lanes, driving below the speed limet, refusing to allow other traffic the right to pass, most in jeans, some no helmet, running shoes...
The list goes on and on!

I generally support the driver here despite his lack of car control skills. Big, road hogging group rides are so damn annoying!

Riding side by side is the thing that pisses me off. Because the rolling roadblock in the left side of the lane is almost ALWAYS over the center stripe.

I've been stuck behind several herds of Harley's, RVs, and grouped up tourists at times and can't believe the gall of those would simply don't give a shit about the other motorists on the road. This weekend there will be a 100+ Corvette run from Petaluma to Healdsburg CA. that will include a section of hiway 1. The entire route is on double yellow two lanesi. Imagine coming across them going in the same direction...

What could be more dangerous than a car passing a big group of motorcycles in the right lane? Well, that.

How did somebody not tear that asshole out of the car and pulverize them?

and how could the authorities sanction an event that basically is a rolling roadblock on a public road?

The car driver is an ahole alright, but the inconsiderate folks that thought up this ride are far worse.

Do the event but keep your group in the right lane, it is a four lane highway for a reason.

The bikes should keep right except to pass, but no one should pass on the dirt shoulder.

Was there an ADV sticker on that Volvo?? Maybe it was Charlie or Ewan?

Maybe the riders realized that they had been the instigating assholes, and it was already enough assholery for one day?

In some cases these are charity events with police escorts. I have no issues with this, even if it does cause a delay for me.

In other cases these are unsanctioned rides, and often the police will simply ignore them unless they are breaking the law.

Looks like a bunch of idiots on sport bikes to me with no consideration given to others using the road. Everyone is to fault here.
I didn't see any cruisers in that vid but they were riding as if they were on them.
