The rumors are out, the buzz has been created.....is the Catalina Grand Prix a go for 2013? Check out the website.... http://catalinagp.com/ from their Facebook page there are people saying it's official..... personally I wont believe it until they start accepting checks again. Im STILL blown away that they made it work in 2010 but I'll happily cough up the money again if this is the real deal... Everyone, cross your fingers because it was a blast last time....

Haggling over price at the moment. Three people have already expressed interest in being the monkey. I'll let you know how the purchase develops. It would be great to have multiple hacks racing!
OHHH yea. Already talked to the wife and if this thing happens again, the little one is going to be there as long as he/she isn't a total mess. Besides, I just got these in the mail.... and plus we also just got Quyen her KTM racing umbrella. She is my Umbrella girl - she has to be there!
I'm sure there are several teams that would love to do it, including Hall/Budd from the island. But they would probably all be on somewhat more modern rigs, so maybe not a fair race.
Yeah and the race I was in last time, with Andy Bell, Johhny Campbell, Kurt Caselli, Kendall Norman et al.... THAT was fair?? I could have been in the dammed Red Bull Helicopter and still would have come in last in that race. Having said that it was such an honor to be there....

Not sure what is going on, guy in charge is busy with his son's budding Motocross carrier. Quite possible he is process of dropping the ball. :-(
Totally forgot you posted that pic. Kieth Mashburn & I talked tonight and it looks like that hack was put on another bike in the mid to late 60's and I now have that combination!!!! Frigg'n small world.

OK so I just called my inside source. He said that he was told by the Mayor of Avalon 2 days ago that it is going to happen. My source was going to notify "the powers that be" about the re-directed web site link.
