Sure, no problem. It's a pretty stripped down plan that was designed around the SSS industry. Designed for people who are generally in really good physical health, but tend to be accident prone. :lol3

Scott, some of those supplemental plans are ok, but only if they don't decline payments based on accident/risk exposure. It's in the very, very fine print. The shit you need a magnifying glass to read. It usually declines payment for anything other than "usual activity" and typically declines payment for motorcycle riding, race cars, sky diving, kangaroo boxing, crocodile wrestling, etc, etc, etc.

Those pictures are never pretty to look at.

To think I have ridden for 30 years and as a self employed contractor.
I rarely had any health or life insurance.

Rob I got an Insurance question for you.
If you and your wife both have full medical. Each being the primary for their own policy and the spouse and kids being secondary coverage of each others policy.

If something major happens how is it handled???
My policy is Cal PERS and my wife's is private PPO.

Will each policy cover any laps in each others policy?

    Thanks

I wish I could post up pix of my shattered spine , the L1 vertibrae looks like a shot glass dropped on a cement floor .

5 years and counting , I'll wear a back brace and use a cane until I die but I refuse to stop riding so far :ricky .

I'll prolly never ride off road again but I *do* still ride and I hope all here follow the Doctor's P.T. regimine as that's crucial to regaining mobility and flexibility .

I actually dobn't think that what he's looking for. As long as you are both covered as primary or secondary on each others policy, even if one policy lapses, you are still covered. Even if both policies are still in effect, the primary would be the one tapped. If for some reason the primary company found about about a secondary policy they might attempt to subrogate a portion of the loss. This is soemthing done behind the scenes and you would probably never even see it occur.

Let's get back to riding and breaking bones talk. I'm not the medical insurance specialist in my brokerage. I leave that up to Brenda.

Looked like a good ride Joel. Or did you truck down there? Either way, I'm sure the riding was kick ass without all the rules down there.
