We're in (2). We have three loops (45-80 miles each) good for big bikes. Mix of paved, unpaved, gravel, and seasonal unmaintained. We'll probably lead one or two and share the GPS tracks so anyone can do them. More details tomorrow...

I have no sign-ups for the street ride yet, so it could be done either day. I chose Saturday thinking y'all would want to be fresh for the ride home on Sunday.

Let the sign-ups tell me which day.

I'm in for the street ride. My preference would be for Saturday so I would be fresher for the Sunday dual sport ride.

I am a local, I am from and live in Walton, about 10 miles away. Saturday is the finale of the Delaware County Fair, so I probably won't be able to make this year's ride.

I don't think riding on private land is a great idea, fortunately there are a fair number of seasonal roads and DEC forest roads that double as snowmobile trails in the winter.

You can get a pretty good overview of the DEC roads by downloading the "DEC ROADS".kmz file from the DEC's web site http://www.dec.ny.gov/geodata/ptk

Use Google Earth to browse the kmz file.

I have also found the Delaware count tax map useful to determine if an abandoned road is public or private. That web site is here http://www.giswebhost.org/delaware/

Although I've got a KTM 400 I've got dual purpose tires on it at the moment, so this is probably my best bet.

3 of us plan to attend the scheduled ride at least one day, Saturday and maybe Sunday, for the dirty dual sport ride.

And senior citizen pyros are well just wacked.

But I do like this event

Yeah, was super bummed when the labels didn't make the trip last year. Totally F'ed. Bru was decent, though.

That reminds me, I still need to get a good label for posterity.
