That sounds to me like 3 bikes.:huh

They are comletely different. The Twins (Vstar or VTX) are cuisers and will have a completely different feel, a more relaxed type feel in both engine and ride, better for cruising. :doh
The Vmax is more of a muscle bike and will have a more agressive hot-rod feel, less relaxed, more reved-up, but you can still cruise. Haven't checked lately, but the Vmax should be the quickest and fastest of the 3. :evil
And as you know, none are great handling bikes.

XMAN... pues depende que quieras que haga la moto, wey. The type of riding that we get in this area is easy going, do you want to go to San Felipe? or come this way for some fish tacos???? any bike will do.

Sit on the bikes for a couple of long 5 minutes (you know Mexican minutes) and see what fits you good, remeber that both the VTX and V-star come in differente sizes, from the small 650 to 1800 cc so get on them and see what fits you.

Si tienes preguntas mandame un PM o email,

    sale, Damasovi

the Classic has a HD Fatboy feel to it w/ a 16" front tire. The Custom is more like a HD Softtail w/ a skinnier 19" front rim and less fender. Both are available in 650cc and 1100cc and both have shaft drive.

No problemo. I ride a Roadstar...very similar to the V-Star 1100/650 Classic, except 1602cc and belt drive. I remember reading something on these bikes where you have to remove the exhaust to change out the oil filter. I may be wrong on this,....check around on this. A buddy has got the 1100 Custom. Nice bike w/ decent cruiser power. If funds allow, check out the V-Star 1300. More modern V-Star w/ belt drive. If you want an 1100 also check out the Honda 1100 Spirit (compares to the VStar Custom) and the Sabre (compares the Vstar Classic). Also, this series of Hondas are much easier to wrench on than the VTX series. Don't forget the HD Sportsters. Very good bikes in this class.

You should at least look at the Kawasaki Vulcan line for that style of bike. Very well made and reliable.

I have a classic 1100. Great street bike and tourer too.

Yes you do have to remove/loosen the front exhaust tube to change the oil, but it is not a big deal. I am not a mechanic and I did it. I also adjusted the valves - ain't not biggy either. the hardest part is taking everything off and putting it back on to get to the valves. It was fun in a way.

there is so much you can do to make more power with these bikes. they aren't that big but they aren't small either.

check out this forum. more info / discussion than you can handle.
