First, please welcome fellow advr 2Trac to the old school forum... Her he is leaving on his GS (formerly mine..) and here's where my troubles all started when I found lust in my heart
we all know what you've been shopping for. stop with the hints and spit it out. nm, i can see that you're in the middle of this. nice pd tank...
How cool is this? More details later... ***EDIT Added 10/2014*** And for those who are tempted to read ahead, here is a shot of the bike in 2012 Here's the first shot I ever saw of "my" G/S
it's not a pd tank, it's a heinrich. sweet find. i sold one of those years ago and am still kicking myself over it.
The Corbin absoloutely has to go!!!! Anyone want to trade a Corbin in need of a recover for an R80G/S dual seat they have? I also got two sets of BMW bag racks, one set of bags, a really nice orange solo seat (less the seat pan sadly), a chock full tool kit and that's about... oh, and need side covers as well, the PO have have those somewhere... The bike came from CO, and the local dealer confirmed to the local owner that somehwere before 19K miles, they put in a new clutch and rebuilt the transmission.... edit 08/2008... no they didn't rebuild the trans, but yes the clutch stuff is almost new...
tat is some HOT PANTS man. damn that tank makes those forks looks spindly. I've heard Dr650's go on pretty easily.
First off, are you sure your not related to Phil Collins? Secondly, that boat you are on sure looks like the one that runs from Vashon to Fauntelroy. Thirdly, I love the bike, very cool fuel tank. I want one. Where do I get one?? Steve
You know it, don't you: with that tank you need a new front suspension and a matching rear end! Nice find, Gage!
you whore, you never answered me...ride on.thanks for all the posts of the upgrades you did, and I look forward to seeing more...
