I have found the new Dakar pants available thru:
    http://buyklim.com/

The lady Mindy was very helpful. They wreren't available from any site that I checked on the weekend. I did ask the buyklim via email to let me know when the 32 in grey was in stock. Got an email today that they were. I emailed back that I wanted a pair, and listed my shipping address an phone. Less than 5 minutes passed and the call came in from Mindy. She is even drop shipping direct from KLIM. This means that she has warehouse inventory available!!!

I have the Dakar pants. They are MX pants (over boots.) Pretty well ventilated.

They do not have any armor. I wear knee/ shin guards under them.

They are fairly adjustable so I can pull them over jeans/shorts or just wear them with skivies.

    REALLY nice pants.

    Hope this helps.

Dont have mine for a couple of more days. They do have padding on the knees and hips, but no armour.
You can surf to klim and see how they are built.

Just got a pair the other day and really well made imho. Hip Armour is ok but the knee Armour is too small for off road. I always wear shin and knee pads anyway. Good waist adjustment and these ones should be ordered one size down. IE if you are 36 inch get the 34's.
