Yes the fenders are interchangeable, however I don't think there would be enough clearance on the low fender with the 21" front wheel. The high fender bolts right on to the Strada.

Also, the Terra front wheel has everything needed for ABS except the ABS ring. The spot for the ring is on the rotor. It bolts right up using the holes where the rotor bolts to the wheel.

Basically, all the parts are interchangeable between the two. Wheels, tires, fenders, plastics, and ABS are the only things that make them different.

What size is that knobby? Looks too skinny to be a 140...Either way, the Terra is a whole new bike with some knobs. Youll love it! :freaky

Are there any clearance issues with that cross over header pipe and the bigger knobby tyres some re fitting to the Terra?

Its a 140/80, its just sitting on the ground and not inflated.

I doubt it as long as you use a 140/80-18.

Yep, saw him getting gas on the way home. Just finished up a weekend getaway with MrsDonkeys. I take her on a weekend vacation, and she tells me I can buy a new bike. I didnt want to push it by heading out to ride for the NC ABC tag.

She works tomorrow...and I'm off. Pictures to come.

Getting some break-in miles today. Chasing tags and connecting the dots with some forest roads. I love this bike!

OK, first 100 mile review. I don't count test ride miles in this, just day one on my bike. This is posted from the side of the road while taking a short break.

    Pro's:

    - That engine is SWEET! So much smoother than the BMW and KTM counterparts. Yes, I know it is a souped up BMW engine, but trust me, it is smoother.

    - Handling is a breeze. The bike feels lighter than 400lbs, period.

    - Ergonomics are comfy. Controls are easy and convenient.

    - A lot of people complain about the bump in the seat, but I like it. It keeps my back in a good position. Jumping out of one too many airplanes has taken its toll, and a lot of seats cause me problems. This is the most perfect seat from the factory I've ever seen.

    - Throttle only wheelies.

    - Feels very stable off road. I'm not an off road rider by any stretch though. I bought this to do more off road stuff. It feels planted, even on the cast wheels and street tires. I'll still make the change to spoked wheels though.

    Con's:

    - The mirrors give me a great view of my arms. I do have sexy arms, but I prefer to see the cars behind me in the mirrors. Constantly seeing my arms causes me to admire them, and that distracts me from the road.

    - Throttle only wheelies. This encourages hooligan-like behavior in traffic.

Really, that is all I have to complain about right now. I need to get my hands on some crash bars and some soft bags and this thing will become my go-to commuter.

I bought some $10 black mirror extensions off eBay - works great to give me a full view behind with only partial arm view.

Nothing beats the Dunlop D907F for the front. 5000klm. Then on the rear a Dunlop D908RR (rally raid) 5000klm or a Motoz Tractionator for half the price but only good for 4000klm.

    TE610e done 35000klm.

I test rode a Terra a few weeks ago, and really like the bike. But do I look too big for the bike? I'm 74" tall and 215lbs.

No. Do you feel to tall for the bike? I'd say it is more about feel than looks.

It is a dual-sport, and a new one at that. I don't think too many guys are doing full knobbies yet.
