NC-North-Central-Tag-A-Rama Game - NC-NC-TAR

Grabbing lunch in Danbury then heading east for the next drop.

This was constructed as NC's maximum strength prison and once deemed "escape proof" until the largest prison break in NC's history took place here. The prison has been closed for sometime and a little googling should revel the location. I am aware that there are news stories online that will report "the largest NC prison break" but many of them are wrong and those locations aren't within the boundaries of this game anyway.

We don't ride in the eastern side of the map often, so we stayed east, and went south from the last tag. This hydro is on the Haw, in the SE corner of the map.

The prison was a cool tag btw.

I've always wanted to go inside. There's an old rock quarry behind it that my dive club operates so I've driven past it a few dozen times. One of my clients retired from the State prison system and told me the story.

Just got back from taking this picture! My phone cant post to the internet so I had to send it to my girlfriend who sent it to my facebook so I could post it here! Ill post the next spot tomorrow in the afternoon

....I'm sure you know that a smartphone with the tapatalk app makes this tagging thing a lot easier.....I'm a reluctant convert to tapatalk, but it does make the workflow easy...

also, +1 vote for placing thew new tag sooner rather than later. hoping I get to go riding tomorrow:)
