    Hi guys,

Our trip around the world will bring us to Las Vegas in a couple of days/weeks.

As we have to do some service on the bikes, we are looking for a place to do all of the work ourselves. We will order all spare parts at BMW and would like to do things like oilchange, replacement of some gaskets and new head bearings without paying huge ammounts of money for labour.
Can anyone of you recommend a place or can offer some advice for our first do-it-yourself head bearing replacement?

If you are looking for some more informations about us, just visit www.boomer.de. Scroll down and you will find the embadded translation on the right sidebar as the website is in german :-)

Thanks in advance for your help and best regards from sunny Grand Canyon!

Motorcycle Tire Center will treat you right. I'm not sure if they'll let you do all the work but they are by far the friendliest place in town. Ask for Mel or Kevin but anyone can help you. Call first and explain your situation / needs.

There is also BMW Motorcycles of Las Vegas for parts but they don't carry a huge stock of parts. Nice people there too but you have to pay the rate for labor and parts.

Also, we have a local Vegas website for riders:

    my2wheels.com

Lots of local folks there and very friendly. You'd probably do well to introduce yourself there.

If you plan to get to LA it might be worth your while to wait and contact Liors Moto Rides.

He specializes in BMW's and always has the best rates, etc. As a traveler you might be able to work something out with him so you do some of the work yourself but have access to his expertise and specialty tools if needed.
