Ahhh... That is something that we will have to do next time! All of the items I put on this bike are built to the highest quality but with weight in mind. My guess, maybe 50-75 lbs extra? Not too serious.

Looks good Shawn! :thumb The only thing I might suggest is some RG case covers (if they make them!) since it doesn't look like the crash bars do much to protect that area in the event of a fall in the rocks.

Quick semi-related question(s): What's the distance between the mount points on the X-creen? I'm trying to figure out if it will fit on my Stelvio NTX stock screen, and the best I can figure is you need about 10" between where the "feet" attach to the screen. Also, how much curvature will the mounts support (i.e. how "flat" does the screen need to be for it to mount correctly)?

    Thanks!

Hand Guards are avil! Unfortunately the bike was on a deadline to get on the truck to make it out to our IMS shows. Barkbusters came in the day after it left :( It will be installed before the first show. Photos to come!

As of right now R&G does not have any kind of case cover for the 1200.

The answer on the X-Creen is around 11in between the two mounting points.

    She looks great Shawn! :clap

I couldn't tell by the pics, but have you got any fender lift brackets for the front fender yet or do you have plans for any? I'd be real leary of putting TKC 80's or any type of knobbies on without getting some clearance over the tire first. Make a decent set available & I'll order them for my TEX...

As of right now, we do not. While shooting the video, Nate did not seem to have any trouble with that front wheel rubbing. We are going to look into that kit along with a shaft arm guard.

A mud flap in front of the rear tire to protect the shock would be a nice piece to make.
Also, some way to secure that stupid cross-over front brake line. To keep it from grabbing the front tire if the fender comes off. Believe it or not its happened to a F800 GS. Guy went down at 50mph when the front tire locked up.
A shifter with a pivoting head helps on tip overs.

Their luggage is not designed for a close fit. The boxes are universal so they have to be mounted on very wide racks to clear the bike. For a few hundred more dollars, one can buy a set of premium luggage that fits tight to the bike, has much stronger design & construction and has more capacity too.

Shawn - saw the video and am inspired. Rode one of these the other day and I am impressed enough to start thinking seriously about one of these bikes. But I am looking at the costs of farkling this bike....

There were parts shown in the video that don't appear on your site.
Is the protector for the shaft drive available?
I am also confused by the lights. The names shown on your graph of lighting distances don't match up with the products shown on your site? Is the DX available or is that a product you guys are still developing?
