    3 weekends in a row with December weather this nice?!?:D
    Clear as a bell this am riding down SC Hwy 11...Hogback Mtn from afar, Glassy Mtn airlines, Table Rock SC

    The dates are no longer a mystery, but check out the bottom of the sign. Those redgates are plentiful:huh Look at the size of this gravel! It's easier to ride on than the small marble stuff NC is so fond of though. Never fear soon it gave way to a more natural hard packed sandy surface.:D

    :D But then it turned into lengthy series of positive camber turns....dem's berms!:D all the way down to the lake....and back out again the same way.

    Great pics! Whereabouts would one turn off should one want to venture down these forest roads? I've been down 11 many times but never knew they were there.

    There are several places......but the easiest to find is off 178 just north of Rocky Bottom.

    It just rained Friday and I can't believe how clear the water is in this lake. :D I live close to Lake Wylie and it turns :topes brown after a rain.

    Those sure are some long boat ramps, miles from anywhere can't imagine pulling a boat in here:huh ....the approach is washed-out anyway.

    Cool ride report. I knew there were good paved roads in the area but never thought about trying dirt. I may have to check a few of those out the next time I'm up that way.
