What did you top that car out at last year? This is a sweet deal. What's the altitude where it's held? Any one ever rent a Ferrari? Then take it here :)

It's not as spiffy as Matt's though.

I ran a best of 119 mph last year at this event (have run a best of 137 mph at a different event). New engine with an additional 150HP this year, hoping to hit 140+ in the half mile. Top speeds in my class (naturally aspirated) were in the high 140's last year.

6000' elevation.

There were (and will be) mostly exotics there, but I don't know if any were rentals. Top speed in the unlimited class last year was 198 mph, and that was an 1800HP Nissan GTR. Rumor has it there are going to be some 2000+HP cars there this year.

Took the boy with me to this today, we had a great time! Turns out he's got a thing for Lamborghini's and as luck would have it, there were several there. The mirror blue one posted the fastest time: 224 mph in 1/2 mile!









There were a lot of Corvettes and Nissan GTR's as well. Sadly, no Ferraris but there were 2 McClaren's





Only 1 bike running today. Did 163-164 consistently

Glad to see a few of you guys made it out.

I ended up having some fuel supply issues with the new engine (fuel pump not big enough), but managed to run 138 on the last run of the second day.

I'll post some pictures and video when I get them processed.
